Brought from Italy to Massachusetts, probably between 1910 and 1920, and then by Susan Eastman and Ed Lacy of Gray, Maine, to the Exhibition Hall at the 1988 Common Ground Fair, Hog Heart has won many admirers. So-named because it sometimes produces large red heart-shaped double fruits. More often, though, its 6–8 oz tomatoes are shaped like banana peppers. A meaty paste tomato noted for its sparse seed cavity, good solids and excellent flavor fresh, canned or frozen.

Our fish ceviche is made of local blue catfish marinated in lime juice with ripe tomatoes, chopped onions, fresh cilantro, kosher salt, and black pepper; thats it! Saturday, April 25th our take home meal will be chicken verde enchiladas: shredded chicken wrapped in corn tortillas, covered in a mild green tomatillo sauce with a touch of heat, and topped with a delicious blend of cheeses. Just heat it up and dinner is done! 🤗 Our ready-to-heat meals are made to serve one person but if prepared with a starch or an additional side they could feed two people. These ready-to-heat meals are cooked fresh the day before the market, packed, and frozen. We have designed them for you to have simple but marvelous meals at home. Just pick them up at the market, pop them in your freezer or refrigerator when you get home, then simply heat them up in the microwave or oven when you want. Right now we'll just have one offering each week.

Our fresh guacamole is made from ripe avocados, fresh cilantro, hand squeezed lime juice, kosher salt and black pepper; thats it no fillers. This is what avocados dreams are made of, our guacamole goes perfectly with chips, tacos, or whatever your heart desires. No preservatives are used, so it must be kept refrigerated.

Freshly made pico de gallo (also known as salsa fresca) makes the perfect snack with tortilla chips, as a topping on your favorite tacos, or a great side dish. Our pico de gallo is made from ripe tomatoes, chopped onions, fresh cilantro, hand squeezed lime juice, kosher salt, and black pepper; thats it! No preservatives are used, so it must be kept refrigerated.

One 3oz glass jar filled with our roasted garlic powder. We slowly roast heirloom garlic cloves at a low temperature to maintain all the flavors. Garlic is single origin all grown on our certified organic farm. Our garlic powder is 100% garlic, there are no added fillers, preservatives or anti-caking agents. We find that 1/8 tsp is equivalent to about 1 fresh garlic clove in most recipes. It is full-flavored so adjust according to your personal taste.

These luffa sponges are grown on our farm from luffa gourds. Luffa sponges can be used in the bath or at the kitchen sink. They are durable, while being 100% biodegradable. Our luffas range in size from 5" to 11" long. Due to its natural nature, luffas may have dark spots or discoloration; they might also contain a few leftover seeds. Tax Included

Delicious long island cheese pumpkins by the pound. Linked to cheese through appearance only, the Long Island Cheese Pumpkin has been revered for centuries thanks to its smooth flesh and string-less interior (not to mention the high nutrient content). It's one of the oldest squashes domesticated for food, which speaks well for its taste. The skin is tan colored, smooth with slight vertical ribbing. The flesh is orange, dense, yet tender and creamy with a sweet mild flavor. Each pumpkin is approximately 3 to 10 pounds. Delicious seminole pumpkins by the pound. These are sweeter than butternut and have firm, deep-orange flesh. This is an heirloom variety that was a staple among the Seminole Native Americans in the Everglades. It has a smooth texture and sweet flavor that is great for pies, soups and many baked goods.
