Saturday, September 19th our take home meal will be a grilled boneless pork loin chop with roasted white sweet potatoes and a side of pico de gallo. Just heat it up and dinner is done! 🤗 Our ready-to-heat meals are made to serve one person but if prepared with a starch or an additional side they could feed two people. These ready-to-heat meals are cooked fresh the day before the market, packed, and frozen. We have designed them for you to have simple but marvelous meals at home. Just pick them up at the market, pop them in your freezer or refrigerator when you get home, then simply heat them up in the microwave or oven when you want. Right now we'll just have one offering each week.

Our tomatillo salsa aka salsa verde (also know as a mild hot sauce) is made with tomatillos, hot peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro, kosher salt, and black pepper; thats it no fillers. Use it on just about anything we especially like it on tacos, eggs, or just dipping tortilla chips in it. The taste of fresh salsa puts the bottled salsas to shame. Heads of cured certified organic georgian crystal garlic. This hardneck variety has contain 4-6 cloves. Georgian Crystal is a porcelain hardneck that originated in the Republic of Georgia. It has a noticeable bite when fresh, developing into a smooth, rich sweetness when cooked. Its depth of flavor makes it an excellent choice for roasting whole bulbs, creating flavorful sauces, and adding complexity to everyday meals. (The photo shows containers with 1/4 pound worth of garlic in each.)

Heads of cured georgian fire garlic. This hardneck variety that originated from the Republic of Georgia. This hardneck variety is one of the HOTTEST tasting porcelain types with a pleasant hotness when eaten raw. Developing into a rich, savory sweetness when cooked.

Heads of cured pehoski purple garlic. This hardneck variety is an heirloom passed down through generations in the Polish community in Stevens Point, Wisconsin It is a purple stripe variety is intense when raw and gets milder into an earthy garlic flavor when roasted and sautéed.

Heads of cured vietnamese red garlic. This hardneck variety that originated in Vietnam. A purple stripe garlic with a mild garlic spice that is great for sautéing or roasting with a creamy sweet garlic flavor with a smooth buttery texture. Its high sugar content gives it an overall sweeter flavor great for when you don't want the garlic to overpower the dish.

Mixed heirloom tomatoes by the pound. Tasty red, pink, yellow, brown, or multicolored tomatoes perfect for sandwiches, salad, or making sauce.

Two hinkelhatz peppers. PA Dutch heirloom about 125,000 Scovilles - nearly as hot as habaneros. They start green and ripen to red.

Two certified organic serrano tampiqueño peppers. Mexico heirloom from 10,000 to 25,000 Scoville. These versatile peppers deliver bold heat with a crisp, fresh flavor. They start green and ripen to red.

These luffa sponges are grown on our farm from luffa gourds. Luffa sponges can be used in the bath or at the kitchen sink. They are durable, while being 100% biodegradable. Our luffas range in size from 5" to 11" long. Due to its natural nature, luffas may have dark spots or discoloration; they might also contain a few leftover seeds. Tax Included

A bunch of fresh certified organic sweet potato greens. Sweet potato greens are the delicous leaves of the sweet potato plant. We sell them by the bunch and you can just pluck the leaves off the stems and use them like you would any other green. The greens have a softer texture and are less bitter taste than kale or chard. Try sautéing the sweet potato greens in the place of spinach, adding them to stir-fries, or chopping them finely and adding them to salads.

Green tomatillos by the pound. A staple of Mexican cuisine, they are eaten raw and cooked in a variety of dishes. Tomatillos are usually cooked to bring out full flavor: Roast in the oven or simmer for 5-10 minutes in a pot of water, then use in chili rellenos, salsa verde, and other sauces or dips.

Mixed heirloom tomato seconds by the pound. These 2nds have physical imperfections like blemishes, splits, uneven ripening or may be on the softer side. Perfect for processing right away to make sauce, soup, or salsa.

Delicious butternut squash by the pound. Tan skin with dark orange flesh. Fruits have a rich and savory flavor profile, with just the right amount of sweetness. These butternut squash are excellent for pies, soups or any recipe that calls for winter squash or pumpkin. Each butternut is approximately 0.5 to 5 pounds. When placing your order the number you choose is how many total pounds of pumpkins you will get.
